Winter Survival Course
Held in February of every year, this one-week course focuses on advanced winter flying and introduces students and licensed pilots to basic survival techniques.  

Vertical Reference
Introduction to lanyards, 5-100 foot synthetic lines for longline/short line operations  

Aerial Spray Training
Advanced training program that covers deck landings, low level flight and turns, integration of spray equipment. Cockpit management is highly emphasized. 

Type Ratings
Transport Canada requirements and training to add a type rating to your license. We operate the following: Robinson R22, Robinson R44, Robinson R66, Bell 206 Jet Ranger, Bell 206 Long Ranger, AS350, H130

Airplane to Helicopter License Conversion
Transport Canada will issue credits towards Fixed-wing licensed pilots for helicopter license add on.

Skill:Pass a Transport Canada Written Exam (CPHEL) and Transport Canada Flight Test

Program (PPL-A to PPL-H):30 Flight Hours Minimum, 20 Hours Ground School
Requirements:

  • Minimum 17 Years of Age
  • Category 3 Canadian Aviation Medical Certificate

Program (CPL-A to CPL-H):60 Flight Hours Minimum, 40 Hours Ground School
Requirements:

  • Minimum 18 Years of Age
  • Category 1 Canadian Aviation Medical Certificate

Foreign License Conversion
Transport Canada may issue pilots credits from a Foreign ICAO or Military License. Contact us for more details to put together a training plan tailored to your experience.

  • PPL-H, CPL-H, ATPL-H (ICAO or Foreign Military Experience)
  • Category 1 Canadian Aviation Medical Certificate
  • English Language Proficiency Test
  • Foreign License and Logbook record of flight experience
