Flight Training

Great Lakes Helicopter is registered as a career college under the Ontario Career Colleges Act, 2005., delivering one of Canada’s most comprehensive, career-focused helicopter training programs. Located beside the Region of Waterloo International Airport, our school pairs a diverse operational fleet with highly experienced instructors and exclusive in-house ground school to support students from their first flight through to full Transport Canada licensing.

    Featuring a full in-house ground school program, our dedicated instructors guide you through every component of Transport Canada exams.

  • Financing Opportunities

    We offer exclusive private financing for Commercial Pilot Program students, requiring just 25% upfront before accessing financing for the remaining 75% (up to $100,000).

  • Immersive Environment

    Students train within a Class C Control Zone beside the Region of Waterloo International Airport, providing real-world ATC communication experience.

Commercial Services

Our commercial operations include precision aerial application for growers in Southwestern Ontario, along with utility services such as aerial photography, filming, surveying, LiDAR, greenhouse shading, corn, forestry, and forest fire support.
